City Spice is our go to. We've had takeaways from here for years. Tonight our meal was good. It took just over an hour to arrive, which is acceptable for a Saturday. My only observation is that the salad was put in with the hot food.

Food tasted lovely , was a very good portion for the belly buster .The downside was the waiting time more than an hour ,with the driver arriving with the food already cold. I guess that is from multiple stops with other customers delivery on transit making multiple stops . I would order again ,but the cold food has really got me down.

Brilliant food really hot and really quick delivery and I put comments in the order and it's brilliant to say they actually read it and did it. Absolutely stunning food I get food from there always and never ever had bad food. Love it

I have city spice usually once a week and I am usually very satisfied, however my order tonight arrived exactly 1 hr after ordering which in turn was cold!! ( Had to go in the microwave to heat up) I ordered a cheese nan and got a chapati soddened in garlic (horrible) The curry was a bright orange totally different to what I am used too, So as you can imagine, not happy this time , hope it improves next time .

2nd time ordering from City Spice, first time I ordered a Chicken Jalfrezi & the Tarka Dhal which were excellent. This time tried the Tandoori chicken & Lamb Rogan Josh which were not very good. I get the impression that the chicken is frozen but most of all, don't think it was marinated or cooked in a Tandoor oven. Large chunks of meat with a bit of colour and flavour on the outside but flavourless inside. Perhaps that's why it was served with a sauce? Still reasonably priced but I won't be ordering any other Tandoori dishes - might pay the place a visit to discuss with the chef/owner.
